Memorial Day Grill Makeover Recipes

Memorial Day is the unofficial beginning of summer bringing more activity to the backyard, especially around the BBQ grill. Kick off the grilling season with some upgrades to create grilling and gathering spaces for memorable al fresco dining.

Shade It. Add an all-weather covering like a pergola, gazebo, or even shade sails, depending on the budget. This creates a more defined space for gathering and outdoor living options.   

Mood It. Add some string lights, or lanterns above the covering and solar lights below to create an inviting mood come dusk. If the space welcomes a fire pit then add that to the ambience too.

Customize It. A custom built grill is ideal for maximizing space. One trend is building grills into deck railings. This is perfect for those small patio areas leaving more space for seating and dining.
